Brian Allman was born in Toronto, educated in the United States and settled in the beautiful Niagara Region approximately 25 years ago. Ever since high school, photography has been an integral part of his life.

He has explored all facets of media arts and has spent several years working for community television and engaging in all aspects of television production. His love affair with the camera lens has compelled him to travel and shoot extensively throughout North America and the British Isles.

In 1997, he began perfecting his Fine Arts skills, specializing in abstract photography. Brian has an uncanny ability to make the ordinary appear extraordinary. Because of this, his once part-time passion is now his full-time career. He now works as a portrait photographer as well as a contract photographer to businesses throughout Niagara and the Golden Horseshoe.

Much of his current work has been done in our own beautiful Niagara Region. Brian spends most weekends, camera in hand, roaming the grounds of the School of Horticulture or one of our local conservation areas.

A member of the Niagara Artists Guild, he has exhibited and sold his work locally and internationally, with his photographs appearing on magazine and CD covers as well as gracing the pages of many print brochures and websites.
