GARRISON LITTLE THEATRE
SWEATS IT OUT IN RIDGEWAY
It has been said it never rains on the Ridgeway Summer Festival. Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9, 2006 were sunny and hot, cooler under the gray tent on Ridge Road, where young performers from Garrison Little Theatre wowed audiences in a one-act comedy by Anton Chekhov, The Proposal. Despite tough conditions, such as a noisy generator near the stage, the actors gave it their all and great fun was had by everyone. Thanks go to all involved: Tom Masek (director), Gary Winslow (producer) and the many GLT volunteers who helped with lightning speed to put-up and dismantle the set. The Proposal was followed by two hilarious sketches performed by GLT members Vince Marinaccio and Don Bracikowski. Hats off to the organizers of the Ridgeway Summer Festival! Garrison Little Theatre looks forward to participating in this great community event next year.
